Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern your use of the Govori language-learning application and related websites (the Service), provided by GOVORI d.o.o., Reginčeva ulica 8, 4000 Kranj, Slovenia. Please read them carefully.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Govori is an application that teaches languages through an adaptive course of short lessons and conversation practice. The Service currently offers a beginner (A1) English-to-Slovenian course, along with conversation practice. Features and content are under active development and may change, expand, or be removed over time.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
Paid tiers are not yet offered. The Service is currently provided without charge. If and when paid plans are introduced, the applicable pricing, billing, and refund terms will be added here and presented to you before any purchase.
The Service, including its curriculum, lesson content, software, text, audio, design, and branding, is owned by GOVORI d.o.o. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own language learning.
You keep any rights you have in the content you submit (for example, your answers and conversation inputs). You grant us the licence needed to process that content to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Govori is an educational tool. We work to make our teaching content accurate and useful, but we do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, level of fluency, exam result, or that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOVORI d.o.o. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting support@govori.app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Slovenia. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country in which you live.

We may update these Terms as the Service develops. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
